Fondazione Universitaria Economia Tor Vergata Ceis

Pasquale Lucio Scandizzo was born in the lovely city of Salerno, Campania in the South of Italy. He is Professor of Political Economy at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and Director of CEIS, the Center of Economics and Intermational Studies. He was granted a Ph.D at the University of California, Berkeley and undergraduate degrees from the University of Naples, Italy. He was a senior economist with the World Bank from 1972 to 1987, President of the Italian Institute for Planning and member of the National Planning Committee. He is an internationally known expert in planning, project evaluation and private sector financing with extensive international advisory experience on these subjects ( World Bank, FAO, IDB, UNIDO, and several country governments and NGO’s ).
