Student and Early Career Professional Travel Grant Submission
Through support from the USDA Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI), ICABR is able to offer Student and Early Career Professional Travel Grants to support attendance at the ICABR 2020 conference by the next generation of bioeconomy scholars. These competitive grants, ranging from $500 to $2,500 USD, will provide financial support for costs of conference registration, travel and lodging for graduate students and junior professionals from U.S. and non-U.S. colleges and universities: apply for Student and Early Career Professional Travel Grants here (applications due February 25th).
African Scholar Travel Grant Submission
Through support from the Morocco-based OCP Group, ICABR is able to provide travel grant support for African scholars to attend the 2020 ICABR Conference. These competitive travel grants provide financial support for the costs of conference registration, travel and lodging for graduate researchers, junior professionals, and senior scholars at African universities and governmental and non-governmental organizations. (Eligible applicants include graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty, and professionals in the private, public, or not-for-profit sectors in African countries): apply for African Scholars Travel Grants here (applications due February 25th).
Latin American Scholar Travel Grant Submission
Finally, the top 10 selected abstracts from scholars at Latin American & Caribbean (LAC) universities and research institutes will have their registration fees paid by ICABR. In addition, the top ten abstracts from LAC graduate students will also be eligible to have their registration paid for by ICABR. Abstracts must be submitted via ConfTool by February 25th.
